AUTOBOTS TRANSFORM MOTIBOT
Motibot, a barangay in the
municipality of Sindangan, in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, is the
community that this group of student doctors aims to transform by being part of a hand-in-hand journey
towards its betterment and becoming a healthy community. With a total land area
of 1,127.7020 hectares, it is divided into 7 sectors and bounded by Barangay
Dona Josefa on the North, Barangay Nipaan on the South, Barangay Sto. Rosario
on the East and Sulu Sea on the West.
Diverse student doctors of different personality and different background are
grouped as one with a mission and goal: to help the community grow and develop,
make projects that will sustain and benefit the community, and lastly, the
catalyst of change in health in the community.
Team Motibot is composed of 8 individuals: a jolly and buoyant Pharmacist (Mary Paula Estive; a beauty and brain
Physical Therapist (Izra Jenine Atilano); an eloquent and effective
leader, Masters in Biology and Teacher (Apple Rose Calud); three stunning, sharp, and exquisite Nurses (Sakur T. Ibrahaim, Roldan Legal Jr. and Andrei San Luis); a
clever and bijou Medical Technologist (Fatima Ayesha Dugasan); and a tall and
astute EMT, Teacher and Biologist (Nurullaji A. Aguil). These student doctors
with different origin will work together hand in hand just like the Autobots to
transform and help improve the quality of health in Barangay Motibot.
As what
Helen Keller says “alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”.
